The figures are in this played-out situation where you’re with your best friend, and you have to listen to them bitch about their partner, and then their partner shows up and you all have to hang out and act like you weren’t listening to your friend complain forever. There’s another bar painting with two figures, and I left the center more empty so it would emphasize the tension between these people.
