Sometimes I want to share and be in the mix and other times I want to isolate and close up and just be with myself and nature and God. I used to not like that about myself, I used to think I was failing in some respects because so many of my peers are Extroverts with a capital E. And they share and they are open and they always seem energized. I realized how much I was comparing myself (especially on social media) and how that affect my self esteem. I also realized I was doing the comparing and shaming myself for not being “more”. One of my biggest goals this years is authenticity. Being authentic and true to myself. I follow my heart now and only one voice in my head and that of myself. It’s a weird road, it’s hard to say “no” to people, it’s even hard saying “no” to the critics in your own head but the more I do it, the stronger I become. My voice and my purpose.
