Astrud Gilberto in the studio. Along with a few other songs, we recorded a disco version of “The Girl From Ipanema”, produced by Philadelphia’s Vince Montana (MFSB, Salsoul Orchestra). She was with us the whole time during recording & was one of the sweetest, most gentle people….really naturally beautiful and down-to-earth - no makeup, dressed down, zero pretense. Truly a music icon, but you’d never feel it, hanging out with her….

May her voice continue to soothe us🙏🏼
