I'm in & out of #NYC this month, so trying to sneak some #theater in when I'm able. Didn't want to miss this clash of the TITANS: #Summer, 1976 @mtc_nyc #Broadway. 👑 While I looked forward to an acting masterclass, WOW was I not at all prepared for the BEAUTY of this PLAY. So delicately observed, yet so EPIC. Humbly holding all that's ineffable abt being human in its 90 little minutes. It continues to be a tricky time in my life, & I didn't know how much I needed to laugh & to listen, to be transported & to arrive back at myself transformed. I really appreciate everyone involved. Thank you, #DavidAuburn , for so deftly making space in this noisy world for this story, for these women. Thank you, #DanielSullivan , for polishing the gems you were working with so that they could shine their brightest. And @itsmelauralinney & #JessicaHecht , I've been consistently grateful for & to you for as long as I've been paying attention, but TODAY was EXTRA: you are formidable alone, but together, you are MAGIC.
