In an episode of ‘Anitta: Made in Honório,’ one of two Netflix series documenting the singer’s life, she shares that when she was 14 or 15, she was sexually assaulted by an abusive boyfriend. “I just wanted this woman that nobody could fuck with. Because in the moment, you still blame yourself; you think that if you behaved differently, that wouldn’t happen to you,” she says. Anitta says she initially talked about the assault because a Brazilian journalist had heard about it from someone she had told and was alluding to it on Twitter. “I felt so mad that this guy felt that he knew something about me that could hurt me,” she explains, so instead she put it out there herself. “I don’t like when people try to threaten me or say, ‘Oh, I know this and that about you.’ Oh really?
