Not for the BBQ, though it absolutely is the best in the nation, but to be with my Dad when he goes to the military cemetery where so many of our relatives are buried. My grandfather, “The Colonel” isn’t just a legend in our family, but also in the Air Force. He was a “Flying Tiger” who fought in 3 wars, was shot down twice over enemy battleground and survived by locals who risked their lives to carry him by foot through the jungle. I always wish that I had been old enough before he died to hear his stories in his own words, but I’m lucky enough to have my Dad around to retell his stories to me.
