A fan reminded me recently of the almost renaissance oil-painting composition of a lot of Deadwood scenes, exemplified here in Wolcott’s “very expensive” outing to Maddie’s Chez Amis brothel. @costumedesignerjaniebryant ‘s incredible wardrobe design doesn’t hurt either.
