Rocio Olbes, a businesswoman and philanthropist, shared her personal and deeply moving journey in her advocacy towards mental health awareness. Dr. Beverly Ho discussed the Department of Health’s efforts and future plans to address the mental health crisis, and shed light on the challenges that, as a community, can be overcome. We appreciate her dedication and commitment to improving mental health in the country. Mayor Joy Belmonte enlightened us with Quezon City’s mental health initiatives and showed us that change can start at the local level. Her visionary leadership in making mental health care accessible to her constituents is truly remarkable. Yuri Marshall, CEO and President of Mind You, emphasized the importance of taking a holistic approach and lowering the cost of mental health care to make it accessible to all. His insights reminded us of the urgency to address the gaps in mental health care and the need for quality care that is affordable and available to everyone, regardless of socio-economic status. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for mental health in the Philippines. Through collaborative action and commitment to accessible care, we have the potential to make a real difference in the lives of countless Filipinos.
