I did it while competing at the World Cup in Salt Lake City which is where I'm headed back to today... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The last year has been challenging in more ways than one. The damage to my shoulder, labrum, and bicep were severe and after consultation I had surgery 4 months after my injury. This has given me 8 months of recovery, and I'm ready to put it to a real test. 🦾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am unsure of what Salt Lake will bring me. Encouragement, redemption, fear, flashbacks, strength, and process are all possibilities. I might climb totally normal or I might stand in front of the wall processing the last year and what's to come.
