Happy Mother's Day! Wishing all mothers, both human and orangutan, a wonderful day! The relationship between a mother and baby orangutan is very special. Young orangutans learn almost everything from their mothers, including where to find food, what to eat (and how to eat it!), and how to build a sleeping nest. In the wild orangutans stay with their mothers until they are about seven or eight years old. They really are extraordinary!
