Travel updates from the MoMu Collection! Five hats by the British milliner @スティーブンジョーンズ join the line-up of loans to museums in Paris and Dundee as they travel to @museumkrona in Uden, The Netherlands for 'Krona als hoofdzaak'. Opening this Saturday 13.05.2023, the exhibition reflects on the history and meaning of headgear as signifiers of change. Here they are backstage in our depot before their departure.
MoMu boasts a unique collection of hats by Stephen Jones on long-term loan from private collectors Geert Bruloot and Eddy Michiels. Next to the designer's own collection, this is the largest collection of Stephen Jones hats in the world.
