Despite the thick haze of jet lag, we were thoroughly captivated by @weird__pickle’s “To Gather”, an installation created in collaboration with @findesignshop + @checker.b0red on display as part of the Saman/Together exhibition. Saman/Together by @hae.hi.design features 18 creatives from Seattle and Iceland, each creation encouraging interactions to spur on dialogue and nurture community. “To Gather” does so by tickling our curiosities, inviting anyone to poke their head to peer into a wondrous miniature realm of sights, sounds and scents evocative of the Icelandic landscape.
