レイ・アレンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (レイ・アレンInstagram)「25 years ago today @officialspikelee approached me about being in a film of his. I had no idea that #hegotgame would have the impact on basketball and pop culture that it did. When Spike asked me to come in for an audition, I had serious doubts. I knew nothing about acting and more importantly as a young kid; how much time is this gonna take? I had serious questions. Looking back on everything now, I realized that I was trying to find any reason to say no. I was 21 years old just finishing my first @nba season, the last thing that I wanted to do was spend my whole summer working, let alone shooting a movie- what a mistake I almost made by almost saying no. There is not a day that goes by that someone does not call me “Jesus”. Lol. If you haven’t watched the movie- please go check it out and you’ll understand. Basketball has given me so many great opportunities in my life that I am so thankful for; being in this film is certainly one of them. Thank you @officialspikelee for the opportunity, and for teaching me how not only to be an actor but to have patience. I learned really fast that you act for free, you get paid to sit around and wait. Thank you @rosariodawson and #Denzel for being who you are and being great point guards on set allowing me to find my space and get my shot off. After every practice, tournament, game that my kids play in, I always ask them what did they learn. In every situation in life, you either win, or you learn, there is no losing in life. As I reflect on everything that I’ve done in my life I want to say to you all- You can’t be great if you say no to life! All you have to do is say ~floetry. Get off the couch, show up for yourself and your people and let great things happen to you. @40acresandamulefilmworks #spikeleejoint #imreadyformycloseupmrdemille #jesus #coneyisland #railsplitters #bigwilllie #unclebubba #lincolnhighschool」5月2日 7時36分 - trayfour
