“This shoot was a Tim Walker-Grace Coddington extravaganza,” remembers Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour of a story celebrating the Ritz for the magazine’s April 2012 issue. “We photographed Kate, who was I think a very faithful customer of the Ritz here in this extraordinary room after obviously an exhausting day of shopping at Chanel. This was particularly moving because Karl himself spent so much time at the Ritz,” she recalls.
