ベラミー・ヤングさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ベラミー・ヤングInstagram)「Just a little #TBT smile 🥰 Way over a decade ago, I rescued a beautiful dog as he was wandering onto the 110 freeway near where I lived in #SouthPasadena. It was an impossibly hot day, & he didn't know what he was doing cuz he had heatstroke. I managed to get him in my car & to a vet (so much for that #BonIver concert at the #Wiltern ) After I got him stable, I searched & searched for his family- with no luck at all. So I began to try & help him find a new family to love & care for him. A dear friend Gavin, who had written the episode of #ColdCase I'd just done, turned out to be the perfect match for this loving boy. And a wonderful new chapter began. Gavin wrote me this fall to say that Charly has been & is having a terrific life, but that he's getting quite old now, so if I wanted to say goodbye, it was time to come around. I was crushed to reply that I live in NYC now. But luckily, work brought me to LA a couple of weeks ago, & I got to hug Charly & tell him what a GOOD BOY he is & how lucky I feel to have gotten to be on his path in this life & to get to love him. 🥰 We can never know how the random events that surprise us in our lives will shape us- or those with whom we share those moments. Try & meet them with love & patience: the universe just may need your help to get something accomplished. I'm sending everybody so very much love today. Especially Charly & Gavin.
