The tour, which began on March 3rd in Orlando, saw the band covering tons of U.S. stops before finishing up on April 16th in St. Petersburg, FL. Queensryche brought along legendary guitarist Marty Friedman as well as Bay-area thrash metal band Trauma to open their shows at every stop. When the guys rolled into The Underground in Charlotte, NC back on April 12th they were met with a full crowd of very excited fans awaiting the show. When it was time for Queensryche to finally hit the stage, a recording of Pantera's "Walk" starts playing, which immediately sent the crowd into an uproar with a sea of head banging. The guys came out on stage fist bumping fans and dove straight into "Behind The Walls" off of their most recent album Digital Noise Alliance. Queensryche would play a few tracks off the latest album, but much to the delight of fans, also included a lot of classic tunes. Some they hadn't been playing much until recently. Their encore included "Deliverance" off of 1984's The Warning and finished up with the full 9-minute plus epic track "Roads to Madness." An absolutely incredible night start to finish."
