I had no idea that Galveston was an island before I researched it.
I imagined Bar-B-Q and rodeos. I got excited when I started looking into the destination and saw all of the beaches. Soaking up the sun at the beach is one of my favorite activities. However, the island offers so much more than beaches, and I had so much fun exploring and discovering this treasured destination. I met many people who’ve been visiting the island for years who shared their favorite places and memories with me.
Everything from the architecture, amazing seafood, gorgeous natural spaces, and unique history wowed me. The island has so much rich history and delving into it is truly rewarding.
