#forsale “I’ve always liked working with existing buildings,” says Sue Minter, sitting in the living room of her country home in Winchcome, Gloucestershire. As a designer, she says they provide options you would never have if you were starting a project from scratch, such as the potential to combine the old and new. When she moved in some 30 years ago, Sue did just that: by creating colourful the interiors and adding a glass extension, while leaving both the textured walls and thick wooden beams exposed, she exquisitely blended history with modernity.
