We all want to be heard…even the coral reefs 🪸

You can now help support the coral reefs by listening to them. When we hear sounds in the corals, we're hearing biodiversity, a bustling habitat of sea creatures that make the reef happy and healthy.

But, when they're quiet, it's a sign of an unhealthy, barren reef, missing the inhabitants it needs to thrive. Our reefs have seen a stark decline due to the climate crisis and overfishing. But there's a way we can help.

Here's how you can use 'Calling in our Corals' to teach AI how to listen for these fish sounds.

With their team, Marine Biologist @daveerasmus, and Marine Ecologist @mary_shodipo with their team, will play back a megamix of the selected sounds to the corals. By playing sounds of healthy reefs, we can call life back into damaged reefs and restore them at an accelerated rate.

However, scientists need to track their progress...and this is where you come in.
