The HP Hispanic/Latinx BIN in Houston hosted 8th grade students from YWCPA Middle School for a stem event during our #40DaysofDoingGood campaign. The students participated in a career panel discussion, product showcase session, and presented their heat island projects. The goal of the project was to design an urban Lego city that would protect its citizens from the effects of rising temps. The students celebrated their projects with an awards ceremony and lunch. #NationalVolunteerWeek
