新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団第5代音楽監督に就任しました！
その披露公演となった4月の定期演奏会はR.シュトラウスの＜アルプス交響曲＞を、翌週の「すみだクラシックへの扉」はドヴォルザークの＜新世界＞交響曲をメインに取り上げました。
横浜みなとみらいホールと、可児市総合文化センターalaでも公演し、12泊の日本滞在中に合計3プログラム分のリハーサルと6回の本番を行いました。全て完売し、我々の新しいスタートを大勢が心待ちにしてくださってい事を実感しました。ご来場くださった皆様には心から感謝しかありません！
錦糸町駅からすみだトリフォニーホールまでの道には、NJP創立50周年を祝う赤い旗がずらっと飾られ、各ホールのホワイエには僕の等身大のパネルが何体も並べられ、就任を盛り上げてくれました！
トリフォニーホールでの公開リハーサルでは、新世界交響曲の魅力を賛助会員や地元・墨田区民の方に直接語りかけたり、いくつかの取材を通して墨田区の魅力を伝えたりもしました。
また遂にこの春から墨田区内に小さなアパートを借りて住み始めました。街の雰囲気や交通の便利さを知り、素敵なお店もたくさん発見して、墨田の街を大変楽しんでいます！
街の文化の中心にオーケストラが存在し、しっかりとその役目を担う。まだ最初の1歩を踏み出したところですが、これからもゆっくり、じっくり取り組みたいと思っています。

Finally I was successfully appointed the fifth Music Director of the New Japan Philharmonic @newjapanphil !
In April, I conducted the subscription concert, featured R. Strauss‘s and the following week I also conducted called “Sumida Classical Music Concert" featured Dvořák's symphony .
We also performed at @yokohamammh and at the Kani City Cultural Creation Center. During my 12-night stay in Japan, I had rehearsals for 3 programs and had 6 concerts. All the concert was sold out and I realized how many people were looking forward to our new start. I’d like to say thank all the audience from the bottom of our hearts!
There were the red flags celebrating NJP's 50th anniversary on the road from Kinshicho Station to @triphonyhall , and were lots of life-size panels of me in the lobby of each hall.
When the open rehearsal at Sumida Triphony Hall, I spoke directly to supporting members and local Sumida residents about the and conveyed the charms of Sumida in several media interviews.
Lastly, I started living in Sumida this spring. I am enjoying this town very much, getting to know the atmosphere of the city and discovering many nice shops!
The orchestra should be the heart of the culture of the city and fulfill our mission. We have only just taken our first steps, but I will keep running with NJP.
