壁や電⾞に描かれたグラフィティをヒントに、スニーカーデザイナーのウィルソン・スミスがアッパーサイドに“AIR”の⽂字を⼤胆にデザインし、1996年に誕⽣したバスケットボールシューズ、AIR MORE UPTEMPO（通称：モアテン）。
当時、マイケル・ジョーダンらと共にNBAシカゴ・ブルズの⻩⾦期を⽀え、史上最⾼のスモールフォワードとの呼び声も⾼いレジェンドプレーヤーのスコッティ・ピッペンの愛機としてNBAを彩ったこの1⾜が、約四半世紀の時を越えてデザインそのままにサンダル化。AIR MORE UPTEMPO SLIDEとして⽣まれ変わる。
