Acitores developed her project Climate Words (@climatewords), a growing database that promotes climate literacy by curating an extensive lexicon of keywords submitted by expert climate activists. 🌍 Young Climate Designer: Foday David Kamara (@fitzdave_hc080), 23, from Sierra Leone. Kamara has addressed the need for sustainability within communities and the environmental issues caused by post-consumer plastic waste and unsustainable building materials (@ecovironment_recycling). 🌏 Young Climate Visionary: Namra Khalid (@khalidnamra), 25, from Pakistan. Kahlid worked to develop the first map repository and prototyped a one-stop climatic map of the city of Karachi that shows what areas of the city are susceptible to what types of climate-related events (@karachicartography). 🌍 Jury Prize Honoree: Aziba Ekio (@ekioaziba), 24, from Nigeria. As a poet, Ekio brings light to the climate crisis through writing and spoken word.
