Rediscover Fukushimaさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Rediscover FukushimaInstagram)「🌸 The beautiful Kaiseizan Daijingu Shrine (開成山大神宮) is located right in front of Kaiseizan Park, one of Fukushima prefecture’s most famous sakura spots! 🌸 This shrine looked beautiful last week with its lovely weeping cherry blossoms in full bloom! 🌸 Kaiseizan Daijingu Shrine has an annual sakura festival! 📅 This year’s festival goes from the 1st to the 23rd of April (though it might be best to visit ASAP due to this year’s early bloom!). 📍Location: Koriyama City, Central Fukushima Pref., Japan Access from Tokyo: 🚅 Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo or Ueno Station to Koriyama Station [郡山駅] (1 h 30 min). 🚌 From there, take the bus bound for the City Hall [市役所] or to Hayama via Otsuki [麓山経由大槻] (20 min.) 🚲You can also go to the shrine by bicycle (rental bicycles are available at Koriyama Station!)
