For the last decade or more I have been heavily focused on repurposing, recycling and reaching for organic when possible. I wanted to introduce you today to the new H&M Cradle to Cradle certified gold newborn collection because it is all of those things…and more. This collection is not only home compostable but also heavily focused on the idea that clothing can and should be recycled or passed down. For every birthday or holiday my girlfriends can vouch for me when I say we always, always ask for only hand me downs. I love pre worn clothing for our little one, and that is why this newborn collection from H&M speaks to me in the way that it does. From the nature inspired designs to the neutral palette, these sweet little pieces are meant to live beyond just one child’s closet. And let’s face it, embracing and encouraging these larger businesses to produce with circularity in mind is the way we all win. Showing what matters to you is the only way we see global change, and the more we ask for clothing to be produced with organic materials and recycling in mind, the more we will see that happen at mass scale!
