Today we want to shine a light on @Mary Kom OLY’s outstanding achievements and her career as both an athlete and politician. We celebrate her as a trailblazer for women in sport and as an outstanding representative of India. 💪⁣

With 8 AIBA World Boxing Championships medals, including 𝟲 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀, 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲, Mary is undoubtedly one of the greatest boxers of all time🏅🏆⁣

She made history as India's first-ever Olympic medalist in women's boxing, earning a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games. 🥉⁣

As well as her exceptional boxing career, Mary has also served in India's parliament and has been a member of the Standing Committee for food, consumer affairs, and public distribution, Rajya Sabha.⁣
