The piece has been a part of the MoMA Permanent Collection for many years now, but I got this letter and the physical lifetime membership card I heard about like some kind of legend… The card actually states “Exp. None”. I thought, sure, the letter is simply informing something I have known, but… actually receiving this nice letter was so lovely. Also, it’s strange to think that there is something at @themuseumofmodernart which will be around after I am gone. And the info and the privileges I get on the backside of this card is so amazing (and powerful).
