There’s something about construction sites - an organic yet mechanical, massive growing creature of the modern world. In 2015, I painted a series of small paintings, 100 construction sites around the world. First one is Tokyo, men putting up the Christmas lights in the famous Omotesando Main Street. I remember seeing all the lights laid out on the ground before they were hung on the branches, and added rhinestones on the canvas.

工事現場に魅了されて約10年　- 有機的でありながら機械的な都会の巨大な生き物。2015 年には、世界中の工事現場百景を描きました。一枚目は東京、表参道にクリスマスイルミネーションが飾られる風景。枝にぶら下がる前の電飾が地面に並ぶ様子を、キャンバスにラインストーンを付けて表現しました。
