“The video is old-school traditional stop motion for the most part. Myself and the band are big fans of this medium - it seemed just right for the track. I had a lot talks with Matt and Zacky and eventually we came to the concept, look, and feel. Production started in early January, and over 8 weeks we built these huge incredibly complex sets in two different scales, painted 100s of tiny skeletons, and brought the whole thing to life. Stop motion is an intense, slow, and old process, and working fast over a short time frame can be tricky, but we had a great crew who were dedicated to getting this done - I really can’t thank them enough. I’ve done a lot of stop frame videos over the years, but this is one of my favorites to date.” – Director, Chris Hopewell @blackdogfilms
