アンジェラ・ペティさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アンジェラ・ペティInstagram)「Was happy to have got 4th in the National Senior 1500m final on Sunday in 4:22 to add to my 5th in the 800m final (previous post)🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I had only run one 1500m this season until Nationals, it was back in November so I didn’t really know what to expect before the 1500m heat on Saturday after having run the 800m final on Friday. I actually felt really good in the heat where I qualified automatically in top 4 so was feeling quite confident for the final the next day. The first lap of the final was super quick, then the pack backed off and I moved around placings throughout the race, near the back of the field with 300m to go but managed to sprint home for 4th place in the last 250m. A big congratulations to @lauraanagel for an impressive win to make it the 5k & 1500m double 2 years in a row, @rebekahgreene for such a gutsy race to place 2nd and @anneke_arlidge for 3rd to add to her steeplechase and 5k medals 🔥🔥🔥 Women’s running is so strong in New Zealand right now! A big thank you to my support crew for helping me get here after having Azaliah 11.5 months ago! 🤰 Special mention to my coaches, hubby Sam and the amazing Maria as well as my speedy training partners for helping me enjoy running again and be patient on this new journey as a Mum! Also to Jennian Homes for funding my season and helping me get around the country to races! I really couldn’t have done it without them.
