Over the last 15 years, I've built a bit of a collection, but at this point, I cannot imagine spending this much unless it was a very specific situation (and not entirely sure what I mean by that). It's absurd. The last classic Chanel I purchased was a medium flap and I spent HALF of this new price. At the time, I still thought it was quite insane, but I bought it because 1) It was a semi unicorn bag that I was lusting over for years and 2) I knew that it would appreciate in value. I've always joked that Chanel bags are better than stocks, but at some point, it stops being funny. My DMs are filled with angry comments about the increase and I completely understand the outrage.
