Sadly my wife @tharanatalie lost her incredible mother unexpectedly 🙏🏽❤️ When I asked Thara’s parents for their blessings , Thara’s Mum took me in as her own. She loved me as a mother would her son. She was loving, loyal and supportive to super human levels. Giving without expecting, doing without asking, and loving without questioning. She was wonderfully quirky and small things that many of us can take for granted still made her happy. Life was always ok as long as she had the people she loved in it with her. She helped so many people along the way and has left us with much to be thankful for. “If it wasn’t for Yvonne..” is a common sentiment amongst many of us. Her house was as open as her heart. Everyone was welcome, and it was never a bother. She made time for everyone and genuinely took an interest in their lives rather than talking about her own. She made you feel seen, and your life mattered to her. She was everyone’s number one fan and supporter, including mine - especially when it came to my career. She would have “jay sean radio” on in the house all day till everyone else got sick of it! Anytime a new song came out she would blast it to all her contacts and ask them to support and listen. Even the songs with curse words in them didn’t seem to bother her because she somehow overlooked that and find something positive and flattering to say like “oh honey I love the melody and the beat!” I will miss you a lot mum. I will miss teasing you and tryna make you laugh and have a good chuckle together. I can never Thank you enough for all you did for me and for being such a beautiful role model for Thara. You raised an incredible woman and instilled values in her that have gone on to positively impact people all over the world. She’s a rare gem with traits that are able to light and lift people up, and its clear where she got them from, and I Thank you for that. You were a mother in all ways. Your shoes are too big to fill by anyone, but you leave us with memories that are even bigger, and those will never leave us. I love you Mum.
