i grew my hair out for my sisters wedding this winter to which i can probably chalk up to my internalized homophobia that (although dwindling) begs to stick around!! i’m sure for lots of you “it’s just hair” and “it’s not that deep” but i know for some of you (like me) hair is a security blanket of “femininity” that some days feels right and some days feels off.

if you needed a push to make a cut or just a change.. or even just to know you’re not alone in that feeling.. here it is!! at the end of the day it really is just hair that will grow back or you can cut shorter or dye pink.. but it also can be such a validating accessory of self expression 🫂 ilysm if you read all this 🤍 ily either way tho
