I miss living a vertical life.⁣ ⁣ Going from complete freedom to trapped in a body in indescribable pain and disability is a nightmare I could never ever have imagined.⁣ ⁣ Before being injured I never had a headache or back pain in my life. I did yoga every day. Now my legs and feet go numb, horrific nerve pain, it feels like my legs are in a meat grinder. Like someone is sawing into my spine constantly. Like burning coal has been shoved inside my back and tailbone. I can’t bend my back, I can’t stretch my legs, I can’t sit up, can’t stand. I lay on my sides 24/7, I need help to wash and eat.
