ピッタ・タウファトフアさんのインスタグラム動画 - (ピッタ・タウファトフアInstagram)「Today marks the one year anniversary since the Tongan volcanic eruption and tsunami. In order to highlight such a life changing event we decided to do a community based beach cleanup. There were hundreds of volunteers including youth from all over haapai ( one of the epicentres of the damage) who came together to make a statement that despite the tsunami and eruption, the people of Tonga will endure and always find a way to return the beautiful island kingdom to its pristine nature. A special thank you to the staff at the Governors office for facilitating and ensuring a large number of beach sites were cleaned. Also to @beach_token and Master Paul for helping ensure the hard work was covered through their assistance and equipment . Thank you to @Unicef Tonga and @unicefpacific for flying all the way to Tonga for the anniversary and to offer assistance where possible. Thank you to the District Officer of Haapai and the individual town officers for bringing people together. And for all the hard working people who took such pride In their beautiful Tonga.
