Announcing “11•11•11”

On November 11th, 2011, MGMT performed a 45 minute set of original music, composed specially for the Maurizio Cattelan retrospective show at the Solomon R. Guggenheim museum in Manhattan.

We are pleased to announce the official release of this never-before-heard recording, on November 11, 2022, eleven years later. The 24 track soundboard recording of the 11/11/11 performance has been recently mixed by MGMT and Dave Fridmann. Showcasing the band in a loose, hypnotic, and psychedelic form, and coming just after the release of the now cult-classic second MGMT LP “Congratulations”, “11•11•11” is sure to be a treat for all dedicated MGMT listeners. Pre-order the vinyl now, as well as a sleek, limited-run “11•11•11” t-shirt, featuring the album artwork. These items can be purchased individually, or as a bundle. A limited-edition colored vinyl option is available for pre-order now as well, color announced soon.

All vinyl purchases come with a digital download of the album and can be redeemed on 11/11/22 when the album is released, and pre-saves on all streaming platforms are available now in anticipation of the release.
