I still can’t believe we’ve made it. Thorang La, 5416m, the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit, a 300 km (190 mi) route around the Annapurna mountain range. It was a challenging last 9 days, that made me realized again that:
- access to a hot shower is a luxury
- feeling warm at night is a luxury
- having access to fresh food is a luxury
- having bathroom at home is a luxury
- even a mjneral water is a luxury.

Most of the people living in the mountains in Nepal don’t have those luxuries and they might never have. I found myself wealthier than ever after this trip. Fresh bed sheets in our current hotel in Pokhara and that hot water on my skin felt like heaven.
