It was such an exciting chance to witness him complete a 70 meter CNF dive (a long time personal goal of his!) This is a very impressive feat for any human being! Regardless of the depth, I am beyond impressed with his consistent dedication to training. It’s so easy to analyze athletes on their best days… those days that just go smoothly and easily … however; it’s the days (or weeks?) they wake up tired or unmotivated, the days you fall down BUT get back up and push harder to overcome that nagging feeling of self-doubt that defines an athlete for me. It’s so impressed that you can train for a depth competition living in the middle of Colorado! Congrats on all your effort and hard work.
