We have given too few women the chance to develop – and, as a result, inspired far too few girls along their way. In Extreme E, equality now works because the rules make it mandatory for a woman to be in the car. It's a drastic regulatory step, but it works sensationally. Motorsport has many facets, for which not only men are predestined. Female racers need to be supported from an early age and attract sponsors and media from the get-go. Above all, female prospects need the support so that they believe in themselves and don't have to fight the battle alone. Let's finally give the girls a chance. It's time!
