But I gotta say, racing the world championship on home soil, with big cheers for all team USA athletes, felt so special. Through all the highs and low this sport gives, I’ll always always always be grateful to line up with USA across my chest. The pride we felt as Team USA athletes, competing on home soil, was incredible. Thank you to all the fans who came to watch, to @usatf for taking great care of the team, to @newbalance for being in my corner, & to my friends, family, and teammates who cheered hard (even when the dream race didn’t play out). I feel like I spent the last 11 months crawling out of the hole that I put my body in during the Olympics and am confident that I have some great days on the track ahead of me.
