I’ve tried to tell them ”thank you for trying to protect me but I don’t need you anymore, you can take a rest now, I’m safe.” Lately I’ve also been working on showing up bigger in my own life and in the lives of important others. Life is so short and precious. We must have the courage to live our truth and to get back on track when we notice we’ve been shrinking.
