This week, the FDA and CDC considering authorizing and recommending vaccines for kids under 5 years of age – Dr. Ashish Jha explains what that means for Americans.

If authorized by FDA and recommended by CDC, the Biden-Harris Administration is prepared to launch a comprehensive, nationwide effort to ensure parents can get their youngest kids vaccinated easily. This plan will:

- Secure vaccine supply for our nation’s children
- Make vaccinations available in convenient places parents know and trust
- Leverage federal programs to reach families with information they need
- Ensure parents have answers and information from sources they trust

We expect pediatricians and other providers to begin offering appointments the week of June 20th, with more becoming available as we ramp up in the coming weeks.
