I was playing so many old records from my catalog. The weather was perfect. Sun shining down. While playing these old records it brings back so many memories…I kind of got all emo. It’s like I’m playing this record I made 20 years ago and I can’t help but think of my life back then. Filled with so much uncertainty. Chasing a dream. Then. There. Standing there, in that moment ON that stage. Literally living my dream. I get to tell a story with those records. There’s so much to say. So much back story. From crappy studios to maxing out my credit card to buy some gear I HAD to have to help me make the next record. I was having this wild conversation with myself while playing that daytime set.
