I’m so happy FINA allowed male participation in some team routines for the World Series. Thank you so much for making this step. The first moment we asked about it, we didn’t doubt that Kenny will swim in. We swam with him and everybody now agrees that it gives so much to the sport. I wanted to share I really hope that @fina1908 includes males in the highlight and combo routines for the next cycle at the World Championships too. I would love to see males included in the other team routines as well. Other sports are including mixed events in the Olympics and I really think our sport needs it too. To think about so much gender separation doesn’t feel right anymore. It makes me feel retained to the past. I think sports, and society in general, are now starting to go in another direction. A place where gender is not so important but teams made by just people, are. Now that rules are going to change for the next 4 years and a congress is about to happen, I want to say out loud that I vote for males included in team routines in all competitions. Olympics included. A good start could be a maximum of males per team. Like is now in highlight (maximum 2 males). Positives for the ones who don’t see it: The sport would grow exponentially and evolve in a way that would bring way more popularity. Win win!」5月26日 15時31分
