We really loved the hustle and bustle of the Medina, the walled, most ancient part of the city. There are so many beautiful hotels (#1 is @lamamouniamarrakech in the Medina) and then there are Riads! Boutique traditional style homes. We loved @riad_chorfa The staff, location & space was amazing 🙏🏾 Restaurant: @azarmarrakech is INCREDIBLE! Amazing food, service & beautiful dance performances throughout the night! @atay_cafe Stunning views from the rooftop. Our #1 place for chicken tagine 🤤 and we tried many! @comptoirdarna is a VIBE!! 🤩 3 great restaurants for lunch and/or dinner surrounding Le Souk in the Medina: @nomadmarrakech @cafedesepices @lmidamarrakech best desserts! For a one week trip, you must: Wonder around the world-famous Jamaa el Fnaa square Get lost in Les Souks (negotiate $) Bahia Palace (built in the 19th century) El Badi Palace (ruins of a palace built in the 1500’s) Le Jardin Secret (secret garden) Do a traditional Hammam (traditional Moroccan body scrub in a steam room at a spa) Ben Youssef Madrassa Day trips to the desert mountains 🐪 Walk through the big fancy hotels in the new city and grab lunch or tea by the pool. …and so much more that we didn’t see!
