We spend so much time outside working on our garden and interacting with our neighbors. We learned that one of our next door neighbors (who recently passed) used to be a wildlife activist and organized the neighborhood to put protections in for the local fireflies over 30 YEARS ago!! (What an absolute hero). And as I've mentioned countless times now, almost all our neighbors seem to love and take care of the local stray cats. And we received homegrown onions from THREE different neighbors, as well as some homemade strawberry jam this week! I don't know how we ended up so lucky to move into a place full of such wonderful people. We've been trying to think of how we can give back and show our own investment in the neighborhood, so we're planning a little local cleanup with some friends soon. Our lives are quiet right now, and it's everything we've ever wanted. 🌈🌟」5月19日 20時27分
