Today is Earth Day - awareness yes - action yes - education yes - contemplation yes - realization that there might no be too many left to celebrate unless we act - hopefully ….

I soundtracked this campaign from @togetherbandofficial and proudly wear my Yawa band especially on this Earth day - Indiginous populations make up only 5% of the worlds population but are the guardians of over 80% of our biodiversity

I believe in true action and I detest greenwashing - so here is some information about these awesome YAWA bands ….

- the rope is made from 100% recycled Parley Ocean Plastic
- the beads are recycled acai berry seeds so there is zero waste
- the metal bead is made from 100% recycled metal
From decommissioned illegal firearms
- every band sold provides 4 meals for a family in the Brazilian Amazon and plants a tree
- 100% of the profits goes back to the Yawanawá community in Brazil
