so I recently found this footage on my family’s old VHS camera from the writing session for When You Lose Someone. I thought it was kinda cool watching the writing process back and how there’s so many different pathways a song can go down. Writing songs kinda feels like tryna find a needle in a haystack for me, you have to keep searching and searching until finally - it’s there. In all honesty I only love around 10% of the songs I write but this is one of them.
