Civilians have been increasingly targeted along evacuation routes and regional humanitarian corridors. An old friend of mine has been funding and supplying Yaroslav and others like him with body armor to help shield them from attacks, but unfortunately many people have been losing their lives. This fundraiser is for first aid and trauma kits to carry along in these minivans: they include burn dressings, quikclot, tourniquets, gauze, bandages, trauma shears, and other badly needed items. These supplies are needed now! WHO, Medicine Sans Frontieres, Mercy Corps and others are on their way but, as we all know, large organizations take longer to mobilize. These kits will fill an immediate need and a civilian-based supply chain is already in place to get them where they need to go. There are many Ukrainian and Polish people, along with ex-US combat veterans who have stepped up to fill some of the gaps. 100% of the money you donate will go directly to the purchase of these kits, not to CEOs who got giant bonuses last year or for admin work.
