One million people have already fled Ukraine seeking safety – half of them are children. Children don’t deserve this. So, I am teaming up with @unicefaustralia to help children in Ukraine & have set a personal fundraising goal of $20,000 that will go directly to UNICEF teams on the ground. These donations will ensure that UNICEF can deliver clean water, healthcare and winter supplies to children and families in Ukraine and at its borders. I’m donating and I encourage all of you to donate as well so we can all chip in and do something with a real impact for children. If we reach my $20,000 goal, I will be giving away an autographed, framed swimming cap that I raced in in Tokyo to one of the generous donors. I’m giving myself one week to reach this goal, so this fundraiser will run from Monday 7th March – 5pm AEST Monday 14th March.
